Taking Care of Your Tan

Here are some simple solutions to caring for your tan to prolong its life and give you the best possible glow.

For your first shower after your tan, stick to just water and refrain from using soap. This will remove the excess bronzer and your tan will look glowy and natural. Make sure that you do not use a loofah or washcloth during any of your showers with a spray tan. Also, avoid exfoliants and scrubs.

You can start using soap again in your second shower after your tan. Soap formulated to work with your spray tan rather than against it is your best option. I'm happy to recommend a body wash for you that will prolong the life of your tan and leave you smelling clean!

Make sure you moisturize 1-2x daily. A tan extender, as well as a spa-quality lotion, will ensure your tan lasts and fades evenly. My custom formulated lotion and tanning products are available for purchase in the studio and through my social media, just shoot me a message. This is the best option for the longevity of your tan, but I'm happy to share other suggestions as well.

Do you drink enough water throughout the day? Your skin is hydrated from the inside out. Not only is staying hydrated healthy for you, but good for healthy-looking skin and a glowing spray tan.

It's as simple as that! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, that's what I'm here for!
